IIT BHU Placement Cell

The IIT BHU placement office offers students the opportunity to participate in group discussions as well as a one-on-one interview with the placement staff. The placement officer also ensures that the pupils maintain their composure under pressure. Interviewers frequently want to examine how students respond when they are given the challenge to solve.

The placement cell of IIT BHU sends out a formal invitation to firms to participate in the recruiting process, along with the placement timeframe and other pertinent information. Companies then fill out forms with job profile information and send them to the placement cell. After that, spots are assigned to the companies that have expressed interest.

The employer will also mail the TCP a list of shortlisted and waitlisted candidates for the final placement process. After that, the job interview begins. The placement cell assigns campus interview dates, which are then communicated to the company. By the end of the assigned interview session, the campus provides the final list of selected students. At the end of the process, offer letters are sent.

By maintaining contact with reputable organizations and industrial establishments, the Placement Cell plays a critical role in discovering work prospects for Undergraduates and Postgraduates graduating from college. The Placement Cell is open all year to make it easier for firms and graduates to connect.

Pre-Placement Talks are also held in this regard at the mutual convenience of both parties. The Training & Placement Office announces job offers, interview dates, candidate selection, and other information. The Placement Office is supported by a committee made up of students from both the undergraduate and graduate engineering programs.

Every year, the committee develops a broad policy framework as well as a set of unbreakable norms. Students are heavily involved in the implementation of these policy decisions.

This is how the IIT BHU aids the students:

  • The cell assists students in developing their personalities and soft skills, such as communication ability, to better prepare them for recruitment.
  • During the campus drive, IIT BHU offers a job placement framework that students can use to apply to various companies. The TPC works with a variety of businesses on recruiting drives and hosts seminars to bring students up to date on current events in many disciplines.
  • The cell offers career assistance through lectures given by prominent corporate executives, consultants, and soft skill development consultants.
  • The TPC is crucial in motivating, directing, and assisting students in their placement. The mission of the cell is to support and facilitate the placement of students in respectable organizations.

The IIT BHU placement coordinators include Prof. Sushant Kumar Shrivastava, Dr Kishor P. Sarawadekar and Dr Surya Deo Yadav. Candidates can contact for information at the IIT BHU placement cell number: +91-542-7165958 | +91-542-2369162 or email at tpo@itbhu.ac.in.

Placement: The placement and job opportunity is the best in our college amoung many iits. We rank 3rd in terms of placement among all the iits. The average package of iit bhu is around 20 to 25 lakh per annum for all the branchs and highest package is 1.2 crore as per 2023 -24 stats. The percentage of students getting placed is also very high which is more than 90 percent. The no of recruiters visited in more than 300 and offers made are more than 1000, which is a respectable number in my opinion. My plan after getting a degree is to be placed in a tech company

But because of recession although the number of offers and the number of companies visiting our college drastically fell this year the institute still set its benchmark .
