Placement: Top recruiting companies like Google, Microsoft, D. E. Shaw, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, IBM, Reliance, HCL, Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Samsung and L&T visit our college for placements. The placement cell at IIT Indore is pretty good and hardworking. Placements for students in core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical, MEMS, etc., are not that good.
Infrastructure: The wi-fi works really well and the campus has well designed labs and classrooms. The campus has the best medical facility, And when it comes to food, its quality in the mess is far better compared to other hostels. The infrastructure of our college lacks behind in comparison to many
Hostel: "The infrastructure is really good, and cleanliness is well maintained as Indore is the cleanest city of India". "All hostels are located close to each other, lie amidst the flora and fauna of the campus and have adjacent playgrounds which are always buzzing with physical activity
Overall: I will give it to 8 out of 10 Because infrastructure and education system was very good but in some branch there was on placement issue but if you go for outside placement you have very good opportunity
Placement: Comparatively IIT Indore have best placement from other colleges. But obviously at the level of IIT it will slightly lower than old IITs. But if we Compare it from second generation IITs it have good placement. In some branch there was issue for placement but of you go for off campus placement you have best opportunity because of Tag of IIT But the group of professor was working on it for better placement offers and keep interacting with companys
Infrastructure: All IITs have good infrastructure but IIT Indore have more advanced infrastructure because I think IIT Indore have best hostel facility and good laboratory, recently they started makerspace lab in which you senior and a big group of proffecer will teach you industrial purpose.
Faculty: All professor are very interactive with us. HOD of the department provide you faculty advisor and you can discuss your academic and non academic things with him.they regularly holding meeting with faculty advisor in some seminar holes you have sit with your respective FA and HOD also available there so you can discuss with them also.but some professor was strict on Attendence
Hostel: I think IIT Indore have best hostel facility among all IITs They were providing single room for each students even first year B.tech also but for 2023 batch(first year)they were not provide single room because some new branches was added so they have not enough rooms but they were starting construction of new 5-6 hostels. In your 3rd and 4th year they provide a APJ hostel which have AC.
Faculty: The faculty of iit indore understands about the problems of a student , they listen student problem and i think it results that there are not even a single suicide case is registered yet in iit indore
