IIT Indore Campus Facilities: Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The institution was established with an aim to not only train and educate students in the best way but also to look after their overall development and growth. With this notion, the base of the institution was drawn covering a vast area of land. The campus of IIT Indore is spread over 510 acres of land consisting of all the modern facilities for the students of the institution. The Indian Institute of Technology Indore campus has a lush green ambiance. The state of the art infrastructure fascinates students to be attentively involved in the academic fronts of the institution.

In order to train and educate students through best mediums, the institution has laid special emphasis on the making of the IIT Indore classrooms. These are not just ordinary classrooms but a perfect blend of digital support system with a modern outlook. This undoubtedly attracts the interest of the students and they look forward to attending all their lectures on a regular basis. The smart class approach also helps the professors to explain techniques and technical aspects in an easy and quick way. The IIT Indore library is also an example of such a digitalised version of rooms available within the campus. 

The library at IIT Indore is a WiFi-enabled zone that all the more helps students to extract information of their use. The seminar halls, conference room, central workshop area, and the auditorium are add on features to the blocks within the IIT Indore campus. The administrative block helps students with all the admission and associated solutions with an easy and simple approach.

The  Indian Institute of Technology Indore campus also has hostel provisions for the interested students. There are separate hostels for the girls and the boys of the institution. The hostels are equipped with all the basic requirements that would help in a comfortable stay of the students. The provision of a mess, laundry, and room cleaning are also available in the hostels. 24*7 security is also available in and around the entire campus that also covers the hostel areas. Security guards and CCTV surveillance is also available at every possible corner of the institution. 

Other facilities of the institution include the availability of sports grounds, placement cell room, common rooms, clean and green environment, transport facility, guest house, clean washrooms, nursing and health centers, 24*7 open pharmacy, gym, canteen, indoor sports rooms, WiFi zones, etc. 

 IIT Indore's Hostel is located in the beautiful township of Silver Springs on AB By pass Road, Indore. IIT Indore buses ply between the township and the institute at regular intervals for students. It is a 20 minute ride to the temporary campus from the township. Presently around 600 students are residing in the hostel. Staying here will truly be a wonderful and memorable experience."

The Literary Club organizes competitions and talks. It publishes IIT Indore’s annual magazine- Inscription.

• Student Entrepreneurship and Support Cell hosts encourages entrepreneurship by hosting events and talks. It promotes conception of ideas and may also offer funding for startups.

Quiz Club hosts on campus and online quizzing competitions throughout the year.

Programming Club hold online and offline competitions, talks and workshops to promote programming and computer technology.

• Robotics Club hosts interesting competitions that combine fun and learning. Events such as Robo-soccer well cherished on campus.

• Music Club hosts IITI’s annual musical night- Crescendo. It also manages a recording studio where bands can record their songs, and offers tutoring for those who want to learn an instrument.

• Dance Club did several flash mobs across Indore’s popular locations as publicity for our college festival. It is society of dance enthusiasts.

• Drama Club puts life into celebrations on occasions and festivities such as the Independence day, Republic Day etc.
