Hostel

The college provides accommodation to both boys and girls within the periphery of campus. The hostel rooms are equipped with basic facilities like furniture, internet, water coolers, heaters, washing machines, etc. The entertainment of the learners is also taken care of by installing TV and game rooms.

Be it the computer labs or classrooms, the latest software is installed to eliminate any kind of obstructions from the learning process. To ensure students complete their experiments without any interruptions, high-speed internet of 1 Gbps has been installed.

The hotels are near bus stands which makes it easy for students to commute via buses. For girls, minibus services are available.

Additionally, ongoing construction work for various amenities has been noted, causing temporary inconvenience and noise. While this may be a transient drawback during the development phase, we believe that being a young institution, IIT Tirupati's infrastructure is still evolving. Despite not having the grandeur of older IITs, its emphasis on modern classrooms and sustainability is noteworthy.

As per media reports, IIT Tirupati witnessed 83 students securing placements in 2024. The salary packages offered during these placements ranged from INR 6.5 LPA to INR 41.68 LPA. Comparatively, in 2023, the highest package was INR 46 LPA, with an average package of INR 17.58 LPA. In 2023, a total of 284 students registered, out of which 179 were placed, and 51 opted for higher studies. The placements involved 122 companies, with 57 successfully recruiting students. Notably, Software Development was the leading recruiting domain, securing placements for 25.7% of the total students in 2023.
