About Industrial Training Institute
Industrial Training Institute Barbil is directly under the administrative control of the Directorate of Technical Education and Training, Odisha, Skill Development & Technical Education Department, and the Government of Odisha. The syllabus & certification is controlled by the Directorate General of Employment & Training (DGE&T) or National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT), formed under the Government of India. The college wanted better industrial participation, so the Institution Management Committee (IMC) was formed with representatives from the industry under the Chairmanship of the head of Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., Barbil, Odisha. All the training and infrastructure in ITI, Keonjhar is guided and directed by the IMC.
