Overall: I’m really happy with my decision to pursue a B.Sc. in Interior Design at INSD Kandivali. The faculty is highly experienced and very supportive, always encouraging creative ideas and giving individual attention. We got a lot of hands-on experience through live projects, workshops, and industry visits. The college provides exposure to design software and helps us build a strong portfolio. The environment is creative, friendly, and very motivating. INSD Kandivali has helped me grow both professionally and personally. I would definitely recommend this college to anyone serious about a career in interior design!

Placement: INSD Kandivali offers very helpful placement support to students. They regularly conduct seminars, portfolio building sessions, and industry guest lectures to prepare us for the professional world. The college connects students with design studios, firms, and companies for internships and jobs. Many students get placed in good firms based on their skills and final portfolio. The placement cell is active and helps students in resume creation, mock interviews, and interview preparation. Although the final result depends on the student's dedication, the guidance and support provided by the institute is commendable. The college focuses not only on academics but also on helping students build real-world skills. It's a great place to start a career in interior design.

Infrastructure: INSD Kandivali offers a highly creative and modern learning environment for design students. The classrooms are spacious, clean, and filled with natural light, which enhances the creative mindset. The labs are equipped with the latest design tools, including drawing boards, digital tablets, 3D modeling equipment, and industry-standard software. The college has a well-maintained library and a relaxing common area for brainstorming and collaboration. Wi-Fi connectivity is strong across the campus, allowing students to work on digital projects with ease. The studios are designed like real design workplaces, helping us gain practical experience. Cleanliness and safety are top priorities, and the overall ambiance is very student-friendly and motivating. The environment fosters both creativity and discipline. Students get a real taste of the professional design world right from the classroom. It’s a perfect place for anyone passionate about interior or fashion design to grow and succeed.

Faculty: The faculty at INSD Kandivali plays a huge role in making learning enjoyable and productive. Every professor is not only well-qualified but also experienced in the design industry. They teach us using real-life examples, case studies, and projects that make it easier to understand the concepts. They are always ready to guide us through practical work and theory. Doubts are cleared with patience, and students are encouraged to express creativity. The best part is their approachable nature—they make learning a two-way process. Assignments are evaluated constructively, and feedback is always helpful. Their constant support and motivation have helped us become confident in our skills. Faculty truly care about each student’s growth and success.

Hostel: INSD Kandivali does not have its own hostel on campus, but they provide excellent support in helping students find safe and comfortable PG accommodations nearby. The PG options are located within walking distance or just a short commute from the campus, making daily travel easy and convenient. The rooms are well-maintained, spacious, and furnished with essentials like beds, wardrobes, study tables, and Wi-Fi. Hygiene and cleanliness are regularly maintained, and most PGs offer home-style food, laundry services, and security. The environment is peaceful and ideal for students who need a calm space after classes. What’s great is that the college staff helps you connect with verified PGs, so the process is smooth and safe. Many of my classmates, including myself, are living in these PGs and having a very comfortable experience. It’s a great option for outstation students looking to study in Mumbai with complete peace of mind.

Overall: Nice college for Arts and Commerce students. There are some rules related this college: 1. If your attendance is less than 75% you will be detained from college and will not be allowed to sit for exams.

Placement: They spent a lot on facilities. amazing faculty. But they do a lot of show off while publishing inhouse articles and magazines. Nice Gymkhana, library, computer lab, large open ground for sports. Top management has attitude issues. Organization needs to working on maintaining discipline in its campus as it faces a lot of student issues time to time.

Infrastructure: Nice cricket turf, 4 pitches available to play cricket and football. All 4 pitches can be clubbed together for tournaments. Available till 12 midnight. Charges 1800 for an hour on weekends, costlier compared to other pitches.

Faculty: 2. If you use your mobile during lecture or classroom your mobile will be confiscated and will be given after a year since teachers check CCTV camera very frequently

Hostel: I completed three years of my degree at this college and wanted to share an important insight. It's advisable to conduct thorough research about this college, especially regarding its attendance policy, as they maintain a stringent approach towards it.
