ITM Vocational University in Gujarat is a part of the ITM Group of Institutions which was established in 1991 in Mumbai. The group has campuses in Chennai, Bangalore, Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Warangal, Visakhapatnam, Noida, Nagpur, and Vadodara.

The Government of Gujarat approved ITM Vocational University as a private university in March 2014. It is the country's first vocational university and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The general education stream and vocational education stream have been incorporated into its higher education by ITM Vocational University Vadodara Powered By I Nurture. These programmes ensure employability, professional qualification, and international recognition. ITM Vocational University Vadodara Powered By I Nurture courses are offered in BCA in cloud technology and information technology.
