As per the previous year’s data, a total of 7 engineering colleges in Karnataka were part of the top 100 NIRF Rankings. Out of them, NIT Surathkal was the top-ranking engineering college in Karnataka with the rank of 12.

NIRF 2024 Engineering Ranking: The Ministry of Education released the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2024 on August 12. MoE has made available the 'List of Top 200 Engineering Colleges' under the 'Engineering' category rankings. The ranking is done based on the scores attained by the institutes based on parameters such as teaching, learning & resources, research and professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach and inclusivity, and perception out of 500. As per the set methodology, the authorities provide 30% weightage to teaching, learning & resources, research and professional practice each, 20% to graduation outcome, and 10% to outreach and inclusivity, and perception each to derive the NIRF 2024 score. Based on the score attained by each college, the list has been formulated and released for the top engineering colleges in India. Gujarat B.Tech Round 2 Seat Allotment List 2024: The Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat, has released the result of B.Tech Round 2 Seat Allotment 2024 on August 12, 2024, at gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. The seat allotment result includes the names of the candidates who qualify for Round 2 admission and the college that will be allotted to them based on their merit and preferences made in the choice-filling form.

GATE 2025 Environmental Science & Engineering: IIT Roorkee has released the GATE 2025 Environmental Science & Engineering syllabus and exam pattern. The GATE ES exam 2025 will be held on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. However, the exact GATE 2025 ES exam date is yet to be released. The GATE ES syllabus 2025 includes various sections like  Mathematics Foundation, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Microbiology, Water Resources and Environmental Hydraulics, Water & Wastewater Treatment and Management, etc. Apart from this, the General Aptitude questions will also be asked in the GATE ES 2025 exam for a worth of 15 marks. 

DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2024: DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission Provisional Allotment for CAP Round 2 will be released on August 14, 2024. Moreover, the seat acceptance for DTE Maharashtra will be conducted from August 16-20, 2024. The official dates and the complete schedule for DTE Maharashtra Admission 2024 are mentioned here. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra State is conducting the process of Diploma Admission 2024 Maharashtra courses based on the candidate's Class 10 merit.

The Diploma Admission 2024 Maharashtra process every year to provide admission to the candidates in the 3-year engineering diploma program. The eligible candidates are provided admission to the participating institutions based on their rank and availability of seats. The examination authority also releases the Maharashtra Polytechnic Seat Matrix for various participating colleges. The seat matrix consists of seat availability and the number of intakes for various colleges.
