The JNTU Kakinada has announced the AP EAMCET 2024 result on June 11. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada, also known as JNTUK, was established in the year 2008 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. The erstwhile College of Engineering Visakhapatnam is situated at Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh and became the constituent of JNTUH in 1972. There are a total of 159 JNTUK affiliated colleges in five districts namely, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, and Prakasam. The university also has several higher learning institutes such as the Institute of Science and Technology (IST), the School of Food Technology(SFT) and the School of Management Studies (SMS).
JNTUK courses include B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch courses at the undergraduate level and Pharm D, M.Tech, MPharma, MCA, MBA and management of applied management at the postgraduate level. JNTU Kakinada also offers research programmes in all engineering and science disciplines.Admissions at JNTUK is done on the basis of entrance exams. Candidates need to apply, appear, obtain a valid rank at the respective entrance examination and attend the requisite counselling session as part of the JNTUK admission process. Candidates have to appear for AP EAMCET 2024 to enroll their seats in the UG courses offered by the university. Similarly, candidates JNTUK admissions 2024 for PG courses will be done on the basis of AP PGECET 2024 for M.Tech, Pharm D, M.Pharma courses. For admission into MBA and MCA courses, candidates must obtain a valid rank in AP ICET 2024. Candidates can also take admission as B.Tech lateral entry by clearing the AP ECET 2024.
The JNTUK campus is spread over 100 acres of land with adequate infrastructure like an auditorium, library, examination centre and learning resources. Some of the top JNTUK facilities include 71 spacious classrooms out of which 57 have LCD projectors and screens, 601 computers, IT labs, pharmacy labs, a 500-seater alumni auditorium, a 30-acre playground, an ATM, a canteen, a post office and so on and so forth.
