The Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is the national level entrance exam which is conducted for admission to the M Pharm entrance exam. In India, there are approximately 800 colleges that accept GPAT 2025 scores. The GPAT 2025 score is also accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the GPAT 2025 in two shifts - morning and afternoon.
Candidates need to pass the higher secondary exam with at least 50% marks in aggregate. The total marks of the GPAT 2025 exam is 500. The GPAT exam is conducted once every year. Some of the popular courses offered after GPAT 2025 exam include M Pharm in Pharmaceutics, M Pharm in Medicinal Chemistry, M Pharm in Drug Regulatory Affairs, M Pharm in Pharmacognosy, and M Pharm in Clinical Pharmacy. Every year, approximately 65,000 candidates appear for the GPAT exam. As per the previous year's GPAT data analysis, 30786 female and 31489 male candidates appeared for this M Pharm entrance exam.
