JNU cutoff 2024 has been released by JoSAA for Round 5 on the official website. According to the official data, the cutoff for the General category ranges from 7777 (Opening Rank) to 35486 (Closing Rank). For the OBC category, JNU cutoff is between 7591 and 14360, while for the SC category, it is between 3375 and 7300.

JoSAA has released the round 1 JNU cutoff 2024 for various B.Tech specialisations. The cutoff ranks are released by JoSAA as per the JEE Main scores. JNU cut off for CSE for general category candidates is 22669. For the SC category, the cutoff is 4379. Candidates have to rank within the closing rank to be eligible for admissions at the university. JNU cutoff for Electronics and Communication Engineering is 12811 for OBC and 30508 for the general category. JNU Cut Off for CUET UG 2024 - Expected

JNU cutoff for UG courses other than BTech is based on CUET scores. JNU Cut off CUET 2024 will be released by the university soon on its official website. The cutoff will be released in the form of ranks as well as marks. The university will release the cutoff for multiple rounds of admission. 

To help students in knowing their chances of admission, we have prepared the 2024 expected JNU cut off after analysing the previous year cutoff trends of the university. As per the trends, the cutoff for BA (Hons) Arabic is expected to be 73.59-76.59 for general category. The trend further indicates that JNU cut off CUET UG for B.Sc.-M.Sc. Integrated Ayurveda Biology might fall between 54.55-56.55 (general category). Mentioned below is the course-wise expected cutoff of JNU for CUET UG.

Dear Muskan, 

Through its School of Engineering, JNU offers a full-time BTech programme with two specialisations namely CSE and ECE. The programme persists for four years. The programme generally comprises a total of eight semesters of undergraduate coursework. JEE Main rank is required for admission to B.Tech programme at Jawaharlal Nehru University which is followed by JoSAA counselling. During the JoSAA Counselling, students who score over and above the JNU admission cut off are offered admissions subject to the availability of seats.

Hello Manish

Congratulations on securing such good marks but you must note that anyone can take admission in JNU only on the basis of CUET result. Hence there is no other alternative to take admission to the campus. The CUET 2023 result is likely to be out in the first week of July hence you can take admission on the basis of that result. The last date to fill JNU application form 2023 is July 15, 2023.

Dear Vani,

  • A stunning campus. The flora at JNU actually changes with the seasons. It's a great spot to be, especially in the spring. It makes you grateful to be alive.
  • There will be no ragging. As far as I am aware, every senior and professor is helpful. There is no tolerance for ragging.
  • You may listen to the knowledgeable and renowned for free: I got the opportunity to hear DALAI LAMA speak, and he is all he is known for and more.
  • There are no safety concerns. Everyone admires your uniqueness.
  • The political situation. Whether you like it or not, you will become more politically conscious, read more in order to comprehend, and so dispute.
  • A library that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. All items are well-stocked and easily accessible.
  • JNU fees :  In a year, I pay around 600 Rupees in tuition costs.
  • There's no need to keep up appearances. You want to come to class in your PJs? Go ahead. You can do it without being frowned upon.
  • The instructors who are down to earth. You can dispute with them on a wide range of issues, and discuss if necessary. You can approach them with any issue.

If you're thinking about pursuing a career in academic research, JNU is a wonderful place to start. The central library is a tremendous asset to the institution.
