JNU M.Phil Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for pursuing an M.Phil. (Master of Philosophy) degree at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in India require candidates to have a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in their master's degree from a recognized university. However, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories, a relaxation of 5% is provided. Additionally, applicants must clear the entrance examination conducted by JNU, which evaluates their research aptitude and subject-specific knowledge. The selection process may also include an interview or viva voce. Candidates with a valid UGC/CSIR JRF fellowship or NET qualification are exempted from the entrance examination.
