This Institution was formed under the Gandhi Rural Educational Development Trust under the Chairmanship of Er. M. Subramaniam on 14th November 1994 with 3 UG Courses (Mech, ECE & CSE) affiliated to Bharathidasan University. Subsequently, 3 UG Courses in Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering & 5 PG Courses in MCA, ME (Communication Systems), ME (CSE), ME (Manufacturing Engg) and ME (Applied Electronics). At present, all the above courses are offered under the Anna University Curriculum. The College Started off with a humble beginning on November 14th, 1994 and is situated 35 kilometres from Trichy on the Trichy- Thuraiyur Road. We are an ISO 9001:2000 Certified Institution.

This Cell helping students to grow as Entrepreneur with right technical skills and knowledge. Entrepreneurship is a key component of Industrialization and economic progress. Educating and training students for developing entrepreneurial capabilities, through positive training interventions is the core strategy of Entrepreneurship Development Cell. The purpose of this cell is to develop individuals across socio economic backgrounds, who have the courage to dream, the drive to make the difference, the ability to believe in themselves and the persistence to convert their thought into action.

This Cell is responsible for the purposeful industry institution interaction, facilitate consultancy, sponsored R&D, Projects and industrial and academic training. The Cell also helps students to do projects in the industries and to take up INPLANT training during their semester break to aware themselves with the industrial environment.
