Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women's University, also known as JVWU, was established in 2008 as a private public university in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The university was incorporated under the Act 17 of 2008 passed by the Rajasthan State Legislature and is sponsored by the Jayoti Vidyapeeth Trust. The university is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a ‘B+’ grade.
The JVWU courses list includes both regular and distance courses in the fields of engineering, management, law, education, homoeopathy, Ayurveda, pharmacy, and many others. All these courses are recognised by several higher education authorities such as the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), the Bar Council of India (BCI), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), and the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
