JB Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in the year 1998 under the aegis of the JB Group of Educational Institutions. It is a private, autonomous college which is situated in Hyderabad, Telangana. The college has been affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH). It has been recognised by UGC and has been approved by the AICTE, New Delhi. Also, the college has been accredited by NAAC with an “A” grade as well as NBA - ECE, CSE, EEE, and IT under the Tier - I Category. The institute is dedicated to preserving a highly educated and professionally competitive atmosphere by supporting the students' entrepreneurial abilities. The JB Institute of Engineering and Technology courses are offered to interested candidates at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. There are a total of 17 courses offered to students in the stream of engineering and technology. All of the courses at the college are available to students in a regular, offline mode. The JB Institute of Engineering and Technology admission is offered to all of its programmes based on a candidate's performance in the relevant entrance exam and the most recent qualifying exam. JBIET Hyderabad Courses
At the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, interested applicants may enrol in the JBIET Hyderabad courses. The stream of technology and engineering offers interested applicants a total of 17 courses. Candidates who are interested in these courses can enrol in them normally and offline. At JBIET Hyderabad, B.Tech programmes last four years, while M.Tech programmes last two years. Candidates must have completed class 12 or the equivalent from a recognised board with a minimum of 45% marks and have qualified in the AP EAMCET entrance test in order to be eligible for the B.Tech programmes. The TS PGECET or GATE entrance test is also required for candidates to be eligible for the M.Tech courses at JBIET Hyderabad.
