Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering & Technology offers B.Tech course in different specialisations, and it is affiliated by the Rajasthan Technical University, Kota and approved by AICTE. Students may opt for admissions in any of the available course specialisations after checking the eligibility criteria.

Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering & Technology provides admissions in the 2nd shift as well as the 1st shift for Electrical and Computer Science Engineering course. Rest of the specialisations conduct admissions only in the 1st shift. Intake for the Electrical and Computer Science Engineering course is 60 each for both shifts. Intake for Civil Engineering and Mechanical course is 90 each and intake for Electronic & Communication Engineering course is 30. This eight-semester course also comprises of a Summer/Industrial training programme of 30 days which students can pursue after the completion of the sixth semester. The first year of the course will remain the same for all specialisations and then from the 2nd year onwards, students will get to know about the specific advanced technologies. The final semester will be a training/ Internship semester which will be compulsory for all students.
