GKV Dehradun Placement Procedure & Policies 

• Corporate Affairs and Outreach Cell (CAOC) invites prospective companies from July to March in every Academic Calendar, to conduct a campus recruitment drive at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar. Interested companies can contact the Training & Placement Officer/ Prof. Incharge-CAOC for their current & lateral requirements. 
• Interested companies have to send their requirements to the CAOC along with a duly filled Company Information Form (If visiting for the first time). 
• As per company requirements, the details of the respective final-year students opting for Placements at GKV Dehradun shall be sent to the company. The job description sent by the company will be shared with eligible students. 
• The company has to suggest/confirm the date for conducting campus interviews with the T&P Officer. 
• After mutual confirmation of the schedule, the company shall visit GKV campus. 
• The company has to do its recruitment process as per the above-mentioned steps and then announce the results as soon as possible, once the selection process is over. 
• Students once selected by any company, shall not be allowed to appear in future recruitment drives conducted through CAOC. 
• CAOC never promotes or allows any kind of commercial involvement in any recruitment process. 
• In case of any discrepancy in the recruitment process, the decision of the Professor in charge-CAOC shall be final. 
• Any correspondence by the company with the students regarding offer letters or any other matter should only be done keeping CAOC in the loop. Please note that the facility of Skype in campus can be availed for the purpose of interviews in case the company is unable to visit the campus. Students can also be sent for off-campus/interviews either at the company’s office or some other educational institution.

CAOC collaboration with Internshala has invited online applications for internships on its official website. UG and PG students are eligible to apply for the internship. Students can choose their internship across all major domains such as Management, IT, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Software Development, etc. Students can also choose short-duration internships (ranging from 1 to 3 months). Interested and eligible students can register through the link (https://trainings.internshala.com) for online internship opportunities. Registration is free of cost. The portal offers more than 6000 work-from-home internships. Some internships offer a paid stipend and certificate. CAOC never promotes any kind of commercial involvement in any process.
