K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies & Research (SIMSR), Mumbai has had a great placement record in the last few years. The college provides equal opportunities to all the students, to participate in the selection process of the companies during the placement process.
SIMSR has full functionally and active placement committee, which is driven by the students under the guidance of the career management and corporate relations team. The placement committee has a e dual objective of providing appropriate opportunities to the student aspirants and also provides the recruiters with a large pool of talent. Moreover, the placement committee facilitates the placement process, ensuring a smooth transition for participants from campus to corporate life.
Most of the leading companies from multiple sectors participated in the final placement with competitive packages and around 35 new recruiters have been added as well. The highest package offered was 27.5 LPA. Many students also fetch multiple placements so they can have the options to make informed decisions to shape their career. As per the report of the placement, the students have received 147 offers from Banking and Insurance Sector, 98 offers from IT majors, 79 offers from Financial Services and so on. The track record of companies visited for campus placement in recent years is overwhelming and around 170 companies visited SIMSR for campus interviews and placements. SIMSR Mumbai top Recruiters are EY, Airtel, Bisleri, PWC, Accenture, Puma, LG, Bookmyshow, Dell, Google and many more.

Placement: This is one of the best college for placements.....most top rated placements they provide to there students.....with a good salary package and many more.
Placement: The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. For marketing, top roles mostly were into the sales side followed by branding and marketing. Advertising and media management roles were very few. Viacom18, Mckinsey, Salesforce, GoDigit, Axis Bank, etc., were the companies to watch out for. Around 70-80% of students got internships because students themselves opt-out mostly.
