Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan provides admission to various bachelor and master program in many departments. All the available courses are approved by the State Government of Himachal Pradesh/ Regulatory Bodies. Candidates opting for admission in any of the program may proceed to fill the application form after collecting it from the college. It must be noted that the application form or prospectus will also be uploaded on the official website of the university at www.mmusolan.org. Admission the GNM and B.Sc Nursing courses will be done on the basis of entrance exam conducted at the university. All candidates are advised to go through the eligibility criteria before moving to any decision. 15% of total seats are reserved for NRIs as per the decision of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
The application form for the Maharishi Markandeshwar University, Solan will be uploaded on the official website of the university and will also be available at the college admission window. Candidates opting for admission in any of the available program may download the form or collect it from the college. The application form should reach the campus before the last date or the entry will not be accepted.

Age Criteria
Admission to the state quota, management quota and NRI seats will be done through the Centralized Counseling Committee constituted by the Govt. of H.P. under the Chairmanship of the Director Medical Education and Research, H.P. Selection will be done on the basis of merit prepared on the basis of NEET UG scores.
Candidates must have cleared 12th with at least 40% aggregate from any of the recognised board SSCE/ HSCE/ AISSCE/ CBSE/ ICSE or other equivalent Board. Besides this, applying candidate must be medically fit.
Selection for the GNM program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in the qualifying examination. Once selected candidate may reserve their seat by submitting the annual fee for the first year.
Candidates will have to carry the documents mentioned below while going for the counselling round.
Candidates must have cleared 12th examination or equivalent with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects from any of the recognised university. The minimum percentage requirement for general candidate is 50% while candidates belonging from SC/ ST categories must have scored at least 45% aggregate.
Selection for the diploma program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates applying for the B.Sc program must have passed 12th examination or any other equivalent
examination in Science stream with five subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate. Besides this, candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories such as SC and ST must have scored at least 45% aggregate.
Selection for the diploma program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates applying for the program must have cleared any of the (a) MBBS Or (b) BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT Or (c) B.Sc Nursing/ BASLP/ B.Sc MLT/ B.Sc OTT/ B.Sc CVT/ B.Optom/ B.Sc RIT or equivalent degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
Selection for the M.Sc program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates applying for the B.Sc program must have passed 12th examination or any other equivalent
examination in Science stream with five subjects including English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with at least 50% aggregate. Besides this, candidates belonging to any of the reserved categories such as SC and ST must have scored at least 45% aggregate.
Selection for the diploma program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in the qualifying examination.
Candidates applying for the program must have cleared any of the (a) MBBS Or (b) BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BPT Or (c) B.Sc Nursing/ BASLP/ B.Sc MLT/ B.Sc OTT/ B.Sc CVT/ B.Optom/ B.Sc RIT or equivalent degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 50% aggregate.

Candidates must have cleared a bachelor degree(B.Tech/ B.E) in relevant stream with a minimum of 50% aggregate. OR
Candidates who hold an M.Sc degree in relevant discipline from any of the recognised university are also eligible for admission.
Selection to the B.Tech program will be done on the basis of GATE scores. Further, the selection will also include considering academic percentage.
Candidates must have cleared 12th examination from any recognized Board/University with at least five subjects including English as one of the main subjects.
Selection to the program will be done on the basis of merit prepared by considering marks in qualifying examination.
Selection to the B.Tech program will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores. Further, the selection will also include considering academic percentage.
