To secure admission in the B.Tech programmes at Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) Pune, you must have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination from a recognised board or its equivalent, with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), along with at least 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or 12. IMUCET is required for MANET Pune admission. Therefore, admission with a diploma is not granted in the B.Tech programme. However, you can apply for the B.Tech lateral entry and get admission in the second year of the four year B.Tech Marine Engineering degree course at MANET Pune. For this you must have passed with a three year Diploma course in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 55% aggregate marks in the final year of the Diploma programme.
