Placement: Placement is good and they are trying their best to give placement to each cadet. 100% assistance is give to cadets for interview and aptitude test. Placement cell is trying their best to be the best.
Infrastructure: You get best Infrastructure than TMI, the hostel rooms are cleanest and there is no issue of washroom. Academic building is well equipped with a lot of equipments needed for Maritime Studies.
Faculty: You get a good experienced faculties. The most are retired Captains and Chief Engineers, sharing their live experience with cadets making studies more interesting.
Hostel: Rooms are daily cleaned and washroom is not common, you get your private washroom with the room. Cleanest and there is no issue of water or anything like that.

To secure admission in the B.Tech programmes at Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) Pune, you must have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination from a recognised board or its equivalent, with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM), along with at least 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or 12. IMUCET is required for MANET Pune admission. Therefore, admission with a diploma is not granted in the B.Tech programme. However, you can apply for the B.Tech lateral entry and get admission in the second year of the four year B.Tech Marine Engineering degree course at MANET Pune. For this you must have passed with a three year Diploma course in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering with at least 55% aggregate marks in the final year of the Diploma programme.
