Hostel: MANPAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PROVIDES COMFORTABLE MODERN AND CONVENIENT RESIDENTIAL ACCOMODATION TO ITS STUDENTS AND ALSO THE MESS FOOD IS REALLY GOOD .

Overall: Manipal institute of technology is one of the best private engineering college in India . It is famous for its campus life and freedom provided to students . Students need to give Manipal entrance test (MET) to take admission in MIT . The college has great infrastructure and students . MIT has a great alumni’s like Satya Nadella ( CEO of Microsoft ) . Overall the college provides the best life to students for the 4 years. The placements are decent and almost 90 percent students are placed . Two fests are conducted every year one tech feat called tech tatva and one clutural fest called revels

Placement: The placements rate at MIT is very good as a lot of companies come to college and the student intake is low. The average package is around 8- 9 lpa and the fees for four year including hostels is around 24 lakhs so the ROI is low. The minimum cgpa required to sit in placements is 7 . College also provides internships to students in the 3rd year in summer and winter breaks.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of MIT is excellent . It provides a lot of facilities to students . There are many sports ground for a lot of sports and there is also a library which includes individual and group study hall. The main attraction of MIT is the student plaza where you will always find students. Events are held at student plaza every other day it’s amazing.

Faculty: The faculty at Manipal is well qualified . Most of the faculty has done phd and masters from top colleges like IIT’s and NIT’s . The course plan is the same as IIT Bombay and the teaching method is good . Teachers use PPT to teach and. Is provided to students

Hostel: MIT has a lot of hostels throughout the campus . AC/ non AC ; single/ double/triple sharing rooms are available for students to select the hostels are provided on the basis of cgpa of students . MIT also has the second largest hostel in Asia. There are also different mess which the students can select . The mess food is decent . First year students have there perm time till 10 30 pm and from second year it’s 11 30.

Overall: Class teachers are not so good. But since it is a private college syllabus are knit perfectly based on the current industrial demand. Also promotes hands on experience as well as give demo in real life on all the topics that we learn.

Placement: Decent placement bagged mostly by computer related branches. Maximum of 60LPA was secured. Most of the students go for higher studies and entrepreneurship

Infrastructure: All instruments are latest. Computer labs has the latest processors. And chemistry labs has all the instruments that are required. Same goes for physics lab. AC is present in most of the classrooms.

Faculty: Syllabus are perfect but teaching staffs are not very appealing.... I wish they could make this subjects more interesting...most of the people sleep in the class partly due to the way things are delivered and partly due to ac in classroom

Hostel: I personally used to stay in block 5. They keep the rooms clean. They clean room every alternate days. All facilities are good. Caretakers are cooperative
