MBCET B.Tech Admission

Nationality 
Candidates must be Citizens of India.

Academic
Pass in Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or an examination recognized equivalent thereto with at least Forty Five percent marks in Mathematics separately and Fifty percent marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / equivalent subjects put together or equivalent grade. The percentage/number of seats other than NRI seats proposed to be reserved for various groups is given in College Brochure, Annexure F.Rounding off of the percentage of marks to the nearest whole number is not permitted.

Entrance Exam
Candidates should qualify in the Engineering Entrance Exam, KEAM 2016, conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Exams, Govt. of Kerala. 

Age 
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age on 31st December 2016. No relaxation of age will be allowed.

MBCET M.Tech Admission

Applicant must be an Indian National.

Applicant shall have studied the Graduate course in an Institution approved by AICTE / Deemed Universities in India. 

Candidate should have a minimum of 60 % aggregate marks in the Engineering degree Examination. For SC/ST candidates a pass in the Engineering Degree course is sufficient. For SEBC students, a minimum of 54% marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory.

The Degree shall be in the appropriate branch of Engineering as listed below.

Candidates who have passed AMIE/ AMIETE Examinations and satisfying the following conditions, are eligible for admission.

• They must have a valid GATE Score.

• A minimum of 55% marks for section B in AMIE/AMIETE examination.

• Minimum three years of Professional experience in the field of Specialization after acquiring the qualifying degree.

Candidates who have appeared for the final semester examination can also apply, provided he/she has passed all the subjects upto and including the Sixth semester exam. Selection of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree on the time of admission. Those who are having valid GATE score and who are waiting for the result of the supplementary examinations of the above or previous semesters can also apply. Confirmation of admission of such candidates shall be subject to the production of qualifying degree -satisfying clauses 2 (a) to (e) as applicable on or before September 30, 2015.

Admission shall normally be restricted to those with valid GATE score.

In case seats remain vacant due to lack of candidates with valid GATE score, candidates from Kerala State without valid GATE score will be considered against such vacancies. If the seats are still remaining vacant, candidates from other states will be considered for admission.

Rearrange Options - You can reorder the existing options in the prefermce list to better align with your desired colleges or courses. 

Delete Options- You can delete unwanted options from your list you no longer wish to be considered for certain colleges or courses.

However, it is to be noted that you cannot add new options that were not selected during the initial option registration.
