The College has introduced a merit scholarship scheme from 2010-2011 for under graduate students who stand first and second in each class every year @ Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000 respectively.
Financial assistance of Rs. 10000/- each is granted from the poor Students Aid fund to deserving students.
The College extends all assistance to the students for getting Merit Cum Means Scholarship offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs.
Candidates with valid GATE score can apply for Grant-in Aid scholarship to the appropriate authority. Government of India offers the scholarship to the eligible candidates subject to the following conditions.
The students shall undertake 8 to 10 hrs. per week of work related to teaching and research activities as assigned to him by the institute.
The student must secure first class during the first semester examination to become eligible for continuance of Grant-in Aid.
The student shall give an undertaking to the effect that he/she will not leave the course midway or appear for any competitive examination unrelated to Engineering and Technology.
The student shall not receive any emoluments, salary, stipend etc. from any other source during the course of study. However, the college does not guarantee the scholarship and all thecandidates will have to pay the fees and other dues on time. Any other details not specifically covered by the clauses given will be decided by the Principal and his decision will be final and he is empowered to cancel any admission found to be illegal subsequent to the admission
