PG Admission for M.Tech Courses - MIT Muzaffarpur is conducting M.Tech courses through GATE Exam score. Available PG courses include Mechanical Engineering (Machine Design - 18 seats, Thermal Engineering - 18 seats) and Civil Engineering. Duration is 2 years, full-time mode. Approval by AICTE. Minimum qualification required is B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in the relevant discipline. All admissions are subject to verification of original certificates/documents.

Admission through B.C.E.C.E. - Admission in MIT for four years B.Tech./B.Pharma course is made through Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (B.C.E.C.E.) conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board. Candidates desirous of seeking admission in MIT are advised to appear in Screening & Main Examination of B.C.E.C.E. Minimum Qualification for Admission - The minimum academic qualification for admission through the entrance examination is a pass in the final examination of the Intermediate, 10+2 system or its equivalent. Those appearing in the Intermediate final or equivalent examination may also appear in the entrance examination for provisional admission. All provisional admissions will be cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination is not submitted at the time of counseling.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission - Only candidates who are citizens of India and whose parents are either natives or domiciled in Bihar or registered refugees of Bihar, or who are employees of the Government of Bihar, can get admission.
