Government Model Engineering College Kochi admissions is offered to various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering. For admissions Candidates must pass Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology. MEC admission is based on the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM) conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala.

Candidate should have passed graduation in related field with recognized university.
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with 50 % marks in Mathematics separately and 50 % marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Bio-technology / Computer Science / Biology put together are eligible for admission.
Seat Allotment: For admission to MEC Kochi, the seats are allocated through a Centralised Allotment Process (CAP) based on KEAM ranks for B.Tech and GATE scores for M.Tech.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification and pay the required fees to confirm their admission.
