Overall: The MSRIT is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore from the perspective of technical growth of the students. It is the only college in Bangalore having autonomous status for both the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. The infrastructure of the institute is quite decent and a reputed one in South India. The college campus is quite big in terms of space. It is spread in 25 acres of area with green and peaceful surrounding. This college also has medical facilities at the campus only keeping in mind any cases of emergency. The canteen of the college provides quality food to its students. It provides internet connectivity to the students through Wi-Fi in the administrative area and inside the hostel as well. The college often holds the grand events on special occasions in its campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is decent. You will have pretty decent sizes of classrooms with a seating capacity of 70–80 students. Ramaiah has it’s own ground that too is of a decent size but it's a little far from the campus ( approx. 300 m). The whole campus of Engineering is divided in 5 blocks & you will find libraries in 2 of the blocks
Faculty: The timing of the undergraduate’s classes is not very hectic and it takes almost 7 hours a day and for the postgraduates the duration for class is 5 hours. The curriculum for different streams of UG and PG courses is designed according to the VTU standards. A very expert pool of teaching staff is available for the students to guide them through their course program.
Hostel: The hostel for the freshers are separate and from 2nd year onwards, there is separate hostel ( Called Aryabhatta block). In the freshers’ hostel there are not any private rooms, you will find only double-sharing rooms with no attach bath. But in Aryabhtta block, you will find some single rooms and some double rooms with attach baths but those rooms are limited and there will huge rush between students to get them. The hostel fee is highest in the 1st year ( For Fresher's Block), at around 90k, and in Aryabhtta block it depends on the room you take. So for single room, it'll be around 80k, for double-rooms with attach bath, it will be around 70k and for other double rooms with sharing bathrooms, it will be around 60–65k.
