MPC Chennai Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The library is kept open from 8.50 A.M to 5 P.M on all working days. The library has 15,711 volumes of books in 7,062 titles on different disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Computer, Agricultural Technology, Electrical Communication Engineering and Science and Humanities). The library is also having Educational Audio & Video facilities like TV, Multimedia projector and Air- conditioned Seminar hall etc. Books classification according to Dewey decimal classification is under process. The Open Access System is being followed at present. Magazines, Journals, and Newspapers are also subscribed and available for reference.Separate hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The Principal is the Warden of the Hostel. He is assisted by Deputy Warden. The Warden is vested with full powers in the mat­ter of administration and general discipline of the hostel. Boys hostel can accommodate a maximum of 120 students and girls hostel can accommodate a maximum of 50 students.Besides, a free Government hostel is available for girl students belonging to Backward, Most Backward Class communities, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The college campus is fully equipped with CCTV cameras and Solar Energy lamps for the welfare of students.
