The College started its functioning from the academic year 2008-09 with the approval of the government of TamilNadu, All India Council for technical Education(AICTE), New Delhi and Directorate of technical Education, Chennai  The library at present has a good collection of over eight thousand books in all branches of Engineering. There are number of journals and magazines in all fields of Engineering available for reference. Newspapers, Monthly periodicals are also available for the students to update their technical and general knowledge. It is both a reference and a lending library.
