• Merit-based selection process will be conducted in the online mode, all for PG/Diploma/Certificate courses. 
• For PhD, graduation in the relevant stream, as well as entrance exam qualifications such as GATE and UGC NET, will be considered as the selection criteria for NSOU admission. 
• Candidates who fulfil all the eligibility requirements for admission will be deemed eligible for the document verification process for enrollment. 
• Candidates must pay the requisite course application fee to confirm their admissions. 
• Netaji Subhas Open University offers relaxation to financially backward students through scholarships under Central and state-funded schemes.

• Visit the official website of NSOU.
• Go to the ‘Student Zone’ tab in the homepage of NSOU official website.
• Select the ‘Admission’ portal to be redirected to the NSOU admission page.
• Choose the course degree to be opted for, and you’ll be redirected to the admission portal of the specified. 
• Click on the registration button. Read all the information carefully and click on the ‘Click Here to Proceed' button. 
• Fill out all the information, accept the declaration and submit. (Note down the ID and password). 
• Set the learner support centre preference for PG admission in geography and zoology. 
• Click on the ‘Login’ button and fill out the NSOU application form and submit it. 
• Click on the ‘Select Course’ button, fill up the information and save. 
• Click on the ‘Upload Document’ button. Read all the instructions and upload the required documents. 
• NSOU will verify the documents uploaded. Check the application status and complete any formalities, if any.
• If the application status is ‘Verified and Approved’, log in and pay the NSOU admission fees online or offline.
