New Alipore College Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

At New Alipore College (NAC) the students are endowed with all convenient amenities that make their life 'go easy' in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting. Some of the facilities include well ventilated classrooms, recreational areas, hostel facility for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, stocked library, seamless internet/wifi connectivity, medical facilities etc.

Students have free access to the library enriched with a large stock of valuable Books, Journals and Daily News Papers for both lending and reference purposes. Students have to produce a library card to enjoy all the facilities of the Library, (which remain open from 7 AM to 8 PM) on all working days from Monday to Friday and also on Saturday from 7 AM to 2:15 PM.

A Hostel for the female students of the College has been constructed in the College Premises with UGC Funding. Girl students of the College can avail of the facilities at subsidized rates.

The college has a NSS unit recognized by University of Calcutta. Recently the unit officer Dr. Mahasina Iqbal and Sri. Utpal Sarkar organized a seven day workshop followed by seminar.

The college has a NCC wing attached to BENG BN. N.C.C. (Coy 1/3). The NCC officer Lt. Gobindalal Mandal and other senior and junior under officers organize the various activities of the unit. Students who join the National Cadet Corp (NCC) are entitled to various facilities. They are especially preferred for employment in various defense establishments such as the RPF, CRPF, Police etc. A cadet with a “C” Certificate and 50% marks in graduation is exempted from appearing in the written examination conducted by the Armed Forces.
