Overall: The college National fire service college is a government college which runs under ministry of home affairs. The college only intake 69 student per year so the crowd is very low. The placement is almost 100% with highest package 24-25 lpa and average is about 13-14 lpa. Many student also got direct job in PSU without GATE examination. Apart from academic you have regular squad drill or fire drill is there.
Placement: The college NFSC provide almost 100% placement. The highest and lowest package is 25 and 7.5 lpa. The average package is 13-14 lpa. The company like GAIL, SAIL, ONGC, HPCL, BPCL, BCPL, TOYO, RELIANCE, TATA POWER etc. Visit in our campus. Also a large number of student directly get placed in PSUs on the basic of their interview. From 7 semester you are eligible for placement.
Infrastructure: As this is the only government college in whole Asia which provides Btech in fire engineering so the infrastructure of this college is very good.Our college has world-class labs for subjects like fire protection, fire prevention, chemistry, physics, mechanics, hydraulics, thermodynamics, the theory of structure, workshops, automobile lab, graphics, etc.As It is a residential course, so student must have to stay within hostel. The mess is good, and it serves food 4 times a day. It is compulsory to eat food in the mess only, and outside food is allowed on a regular basis.There is seperate hostel for boys and girls. Hostel are of 2 seater. Water cooler and lift service is there. Nfsc has world class library with thousands of books.
Faculty: For the first year most faculty are guest faculty which is phd holder or phd doing. But from 2025 onwards New Education Policy is applied so core subject is also tough if first year so now permanent faculty also tough in first year. Teachers are good relationship with student. The faculty like Nakul sir, Arvindan sir are good faculty.
Hostel: There is a separate hostel for girls and boys. The girls hostel name is godavari and boys hostel is Sahyadri. For first year you have given 2 or 3 seater romm but from 2nd year you have given 2 seater room. The room includes seperate table and chair. Hostels are clean and maintained up to the mark. Every floor has a water cooler facility. First aid boxes are placed on every floor. Lift is also available in both the hostel

Dear Pranav, yes, there is a very nice scope after studying fire engineering if you have completed from NFSC Nagpur, as many reputable PSUs (like ONGC, IOCL, GAIL, SAIL, BCPL), government companies (state fire services, different airports), top private companies (L&T, Reliance), and many more come every year for placements for these 60 students. Many companies also have off-campus placements, so in the future you can also apply for them.

NFSC admission has already begun. The application form for the college is conveniently accessible through the official website. Prospective candidates have the option to either fill out the form online or download it from the website. To be considered eligible, applicants must have successfully completed their 10+2 examination with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition to these subjects, candidates must have studied either Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or any of the Technical Vocational subjects. The minimum required marks for candidates in the 10+2 examination is 45% for NFSC admission.
