NIT Srinagar Admission: JEE Main 2024 session 2 result has been announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Qualified candidates need to register for JoSAA counselling for BTech admission at NIT Srinagar. JoSAA 2024 registration will begin in June.

Final selection for the programmes will be done on the basis of 10th/ 12th percentage and CCMT Counselling. Applicants will have to clear all the round to get selected for admission.

National Institute of Technology, Srinagar offer's 2 years full-time M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) programme. For taking admission in M.Phil programme candidate have to clear GATE/NET/JRF exams. The allotment of seats is prescribed by Rule of Government.
The Office of International Admission is the nodal point of admission to the University for international students. After going through the eligibility criteria for the courses, the students must obtain an Equivalence Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) through the official website.
The students are then advised to send the following documents to AIU to obtain an Equivalence Certificate-
All Foreign / NRI students must register with the concerned District Foreigners Registration Officer / Foreigners Regional Registration Officers within 14 days of their first arrival in India.
To complete the admission process, the student must report to the office of the International Admissions to complete admission/Foreigner's Regional Registration Office (FRRO) formalities.
Applicants must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in a B.Sc degree. Applicants must have cleared bachelor's degree in science or a Master's Degree in an appropriate discipline with a CGPA of 6.5 on a 10-point scale to get eligible. Applicants belonging to SC/ ST categories must have scored a minimum of 55% aggregate.
Students will be selected for any of the available M.Sc programs only if they have completed the selection press without failing any round. Applicants who have applied for the M.Sc program will be sorted on the basis of JAM( Joint Admission Test) Scores. Final admission will be based upon the scores in IIT-JAM score and CCMN counselling as per directions of MHRD.
Note: If any candidate failed to clear any of the rounds, he/ she will not be considered for further rounds.

Candidates who have applied for the M.Phil program before the deadline will be selected on the basis of the academic scores. Selected candidates will be called for the personal interview round. Candidates who are applying on the basis of B.E./ B.Tech scores, the percentage in the degree will be considered for selection. Final selection of the candidates will only be done if the candidates cleared all the rounds successfully.
