Pankajakasthuri College of Engineering and Technology Trivandrum Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The College main building is a 3-storied one with a central open space and a Central Library, Computing Centre,office of the Chairman, office of the Principal, Meeting room, office room etc housed in it and on the second floor, a store, Physics lab, Chemistry Lab and Seminar hall. On the third floor, there is faculty room, drawing hall, and 4 class rooms and seminars halls. Air conditioned seminar halls with LCD projector and OHP are available for Conducting various technical programmes.

In-Campus residential facility for students and staff is provided. Spacious and well furnished rooms with attached bathrooms all with facility for hot water from Solar water heater. An in- house laundry facility is also provided for the hostel inmates.

Santhwanam was established as a social forum to draw the attention of youth to the burning problems of the society and to make them realize their role in buttressing the social problems.This activity was initially originated by the Civil Department of Pankajakasthuri College of Engineering and Technology and intern converted to college activity enabling to participate all the students in PKCET. Students through Santhwanan were provided opportunities to sense and experience the suffering of the less fortunate through frequent personal visits. Having realized the privileges and comforts bestowed on them compared to those they have met, students were captivated towards the service arena and all what they could do under the banner santhwanan were result of this.

Activities of Santhwanam:

• Visits were made to " Providence Home" Killy many at times by Santhwanam and spend time with the inmates and provided food to them.
• School kits consisting of shool bags , note books and stationaries were distributed to the financially backward students of the schools around.
• Blood donation camps are regular feature of Santhwanan and donors directory prepared and kept in college.
• Relief materials to flood victims of Uttarakhand was a noble project of Santhwanan
• Madam Gilleberne the founder director of cancer relief India, Dr. M.R.Rajagopal President Pallieum India motivated students into the path of palliative care on different occasions.
• Distribution of Santhwanan kits consisting of rice and other groceries to the needy people in the locality is a regular trait of Santhwanan .Latest project of Santhwanan " Home for the homeless" is launched by a construction of a building for a deserving person in Kandala.
