Parul University BSW : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2024

Overall: I am a proud alumnus of Parul University. I completed my B.Sc (Hotel Management) in 2022. In these three years, I have seen my university achieve a lot which proves its credibility. One such is that it was ranked among the top 50 private universities for leading innovation achievements in 2020 by ARIIA MoE. Currently, I own a successful cloud restaurant and a cafe. The knowledge I gathered during my course study helped me a lot in climbing the success ladder. It offers over 250+ courses in multiple fields. Moreover, it has received an A++ grade from NAAC. It is also the youngest private university in India to receive the same. Overall, my experience has been pleasant and I would definitely recommend you to take admission in Parul University!

Placement: I didn't take part in the placement drive 2022 as I had other plans. However, I closely observed the overall placement process out of curiosity. During the 2022 placement drive, the highest salary package offered was Rs 30 LPA. In the first few months of the placement session itself, we receive around 20 super dream offers and over 100 dream offers.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided to us on the 150-acre campus were smart classrooms, labs, an auditorium, a canteen, hospital and medical facilities, wifi campus and many more. The main highlight of all is the shuttle service, swimming pool and open-air theater.

Faculty: Faculties at Parul University know their job well. I will be indebted to my professors all my life. Be it dean or any other teacher, I always got to learn a thing or two from them. Presently, Parul University is blessed with over 160 faculties from IIT, NIIT, NID and NIFT; and over 500 PhD faculty members.

Hostel: Our hostels were divided into blocks. For the boys, 20 of us were assigned to each block. The mess provided us with Indian vegetarian meals and this was favourable on my part as I am a vegetarian. For non-vegetarians, you can find many reasonable restaurants outside the campus.

Overall: If you want to contribute to our society, BSW at Parul University is perfect for you. It is a three-year full-time course that gives you ample amount of exposure to the world of social work and development. Any student who has passed the Class 12 exam with English as a compulsory subject can apply for this programme. The annual course fee for this programme is Rs 40,000.

Placement: Students can join NGOs and other national and international social organisations after completing their BSW from the university. The university provides assured support when it comes to placements. A student can expect a promising salary package if he/ she gets placed through the campus placement drives.

Infrastructure: Parul University has all the infrastructural facilities to provide BSW students with the right exposure to the world of social work. The faculty has a Social Responsive Cell, a Legal Aid Clinic, and a Language Laboratory. The university takes up legal cases pro bono for the development of the underprivileged classes of society through its Legal Aid Clinic.

Faculty: Our teachers really inspire us to make a successful career in social work and contribute our part in social development through our work. They take us on field trips and surveys to witness the ground reality and realise the scope of work.

Hostel: Students can choose from a variety of accommodation options at Parul University. There are a number of hostels for girls. The hostel authority ensures that the girl students feel comfortable and secure while staying at the hostels.

Overall: I am a last year Bachelor of social work student at Parul University. I took admission here because I was interested in working with NGOs. My past two years experience at this university was good. I am living in the boys hostel on campus. The hostel is very good and has all the modern amenities.

Placement: There are numerous placement opportunities available for MSW students You can work as a medical counselor, social services counselor, hospice social worker, etc.. Nearly all students have been placed from the previous batch

Infrastructure: There are several facilities on campus where lectures, practicals, and seminars are organised. Parul University's Vadodara campus is conveniently accessible by various means of transport. On the Parul University campus, many students host events.

Faculty: The mission of the college is to offer the greatest education possible. Members of the Parul faculty have extensive expertise in this field. The lecturers at the university always made sure that the coursework was completed on schedule. Our instructors never stopped communicating with us and gave us the finest information and experience.

Hostel: Numerous hostels on the college campus are well-equipped with the necessary amenities. Students who cannot afford the expensive hostel fees may choose one of the many PGs close to the institution. The meal is excellent, as are the amenities.
