The Punjab Engineering College (PEC) was established in 1921 and was later renamed the PEC University of Technology in 2009. In 2003 it became a Deemed-to-be-university. The institute has a huge campus that spreads across 149 acres of land area. The PEC University of Technology campus is filled with greenery providing a healthy and hygienic ambience. Having such a vast space there are several buildings and activity centres within the PEC Chandigarh campus.
The PEC Chandigarh campus is divided into various functional areas like the main campus building, followed by the academic block, administrative block, technology block, a residential complex for faculty and staff and a shopping market. The campus also consists of separate hostels for both male and female students. The hostels have all the necessary facilities like clean washrooms, beds, chairs, study tables, geysers, water purifiers, fans, mess and dining space, ACs and much more. The Punjab Engineering College hostel fee is Rs 70,000 approximately per year. The fees are the same for both boys and girls. The infrastructure of the campus is very well maintained. The staff makes sure the campus is kept clean at all times.
The facilities offered at PEC University of Technology are immense. The campus has all the necessary facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, auditorium, library, computer centre, lecture and seminar halls, laboratories and also an open-air theatre for hosting cultural activities.

Infrastructure: The institute has an auditorium, open-air theatre, library, computer centre, reading rooms, workshops, and well-equipped laboratories, spacious playgrounds, tennis courts, squash courts, swimming pool, gymnasium, student club, and technical society area.
Hostel: Hostles are available in college. You can also take PGs at near by college in lower price. The gym area is also there. Neccesray items are easily availble there.
Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the buildings are creatively made.Arena for sports was available.Libraries are available.WI services are available.Yeah , this institute infrastructure wise is good
Hostel: Hostel facility is good. Quality of food served by mess is average but we used to get varieties each day. Overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained here
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my university is improving day by day and making students more attractive towards it's campus by leaving soke space for parks or gardens.
Hostel: In my first year of university life I lived in college and it was very interesting to live in hostel with unknown students and make them friends for your life and enjoy your college life together. Hostels in this university is quite good and the mess facility is also.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is just fine. The labs have been same for almost a few decades and there are no signs of improvement. Many machines don't work. ACs still not have been installed in most of the classrooms.
Hostel: Currently there are 4 hostels for the boys and 2 for the girls. The boys hostels don't have enough capacity to accommodate all the students. The rooms are small but are occupied more than their capacity. But new hostels are being built. I think hostel fees is a bit on the expensive side for what they offer.
Infrastructure: Labs are very old. Most of the times machines are not working properly in the labs. Classrooms are good. Each classroom is equipped with AC's and a smart monitor to present PPTs and play Video and Audio.
Hostel: Hostels are very old. There are total of 4 Boys hostel and 2 girls hostel. Hostels have huge capacity and can accomodate all students. Hostel rooms are spacious but not cleaned regularly. Hostel washrooms are not cleaned everyday. Their condition is pathetic.
