Faculty: The course curriculum is well-designed, and it meets the requirements of the industries to a great extent. The faculty members are highly qualified and helpful, and every department has an optimized curriculum to help you learn in the best way possible.
Overall: Overall experience was average. I have got some very good friends. Some teachers who motivate us even infrastructure was really nice. Hostel was also good.
Faculty: Faculties of this institute are really helping in nature and supportive at the same time. They are well qualified and motivates the students to do well in all the areas
Faculty: Faculties of this university are very helpful to students, they are friendly with the students life teacher's in school . They are also very strict for the undisciplined students.
Overall: College has good on campus placements due to its long history i guess. But things are changing in terms of education. Teachers are interested in just finishing the syllabus and not on imparting proper Technical knowledge.
Faculty: The good faculty who had a lot of experience, knowledge and zeal for teaching are all almost retired and new faculty is appointed. The problem with new faculty is they aren't experienced and can't connect with the students and don't teach efficiently. They don't focus of technical understanding and engineering application rather they just want to get done with their work asap.
Overall: Punjab Engineering College is overall good college. Average placement is of Rs.7 Lakhs per annum. Highest package goes upto Rs. 83 Lakhs per annum. Its cultural and technical fest is one of the biggest fest in North India. Campus life is good because of Clubs and Technical Societies.
Faculty: Faculty members have done their MTech and Phd's from IITs. These itself tell you about the faculty quality. Each faculty member has been assigned only few subjects of their interest. They teach us in a way so that we can crack GATE and PSU exams.
