Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology is located in the Raigarh district of Maharashtra. It is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and approved by AICTE. Established in the year 2009, PHCET Raigarh offers Engineering and Technology courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels.

The PHCET BE admissions are based on the candidate's Class 12 scores as well as valid marks in the JEE Main/ MHT CET and counselling by the ACAP or CAP. PHCET ME admissions are done on the basis of candidates' UG and GATE scores as per the guidelines set by the University of Mumbai. Lateral Entry Admissions are also conducted through CAP counselling. The PHCET PhD admission process takes place primarily in the month of August. The Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology application fee for all courses is Rs 1000 for general category candidates and Rs 800 for reserved category candidates. The only way to pay the application fee is online, using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. The PHCET PhD application form may be downloaded from the college website or obtained from the college. Within 10 days of notification, the PhD application fee must be paid in cash to the college campus.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and click on ‘Submit’.

Pillai HOC College of Engineering and Technology offers the BE programme in six specialisations for undergraduate students. Physics and mathematics are required subjects in Class 12 in order to be eligible for the BE programme. Candidates who have earned a B.Sc degree or a diploma in engineering and technology from a university recognised by the UGC with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for candidates from the reserved categories) are also eligible. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, holds the MH CET and the NTA holds the JEE Main entrance exam to offer admission to undergraduate engineering, technology, and other specialisations offered by various government and private institutions.

PHCET BE admission is determined by the candidate's MHT CET and JEE Main rank/ scores. DTE uses the Centralized Admission Process or ACAP to conduct online counselling after the results are released. Candidates who are interested in lateral entry admissions must submit a CAP application to DTE, Maharashtra. The PHCET final merit list is created by the counselling authority using the entrance/diploma/degree scores. PHCET Raigarh offers the ME degree at the postgraduate level in four specialisations, each with a 12-seat intake. To qualify for admission to the ME programme, a candidate must have earned a Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering or technology field from an AICTE/ Central/ State approved institution.

Based on the candidates GATE scores, CAP handles the PHCET ME admissions. The DTE, Maharashtra, conducts counselling to assign seats to various colleges. Meanwhile some counselling is also done by the ACAP. The PHCET ME merit list will be available on the official website after the conclusion of CAP and ACAP counselling.

PHCET offers the PhD programme in Civil Engineering and Computer Engineering specialisations to 10 students per specialisation. For PHCET PhD admissions, a Master's degree in the relevant field is the minimal requirement along with a valid PET score.

A PhD Entrance Test (PET) is used as the selection criteria for PhD admission, and it is administered by Mumbai University. The PHCET PhD merit list will be released by the institute on its official website.
