The college library is housed in a spacious room with sitting accommodation for 50 students at a time. The stock of both text and reference books in the library have undergone considerable expansion and an exhaustive collection of more than 12000 books adequately meet the varied requirement of all students and teachers. There is a regular annual addition to the stock of books. Besides, students are encouraged to read newspapers, periodicals, journals (which are regularly supplied) to keep abreast of the times. Care is taken to maintain an atmosphere of calm and quiet study inside the library.Department of Commerce has introduced a seminar library from the Academic Session 2009-2010. Needy and meritorios students are supplied additional books from this library during the examination period. some other departments are also going to start such type of library very soon.The college has set up its own Computer center to impart computer education to students. Details may be available on enquiry at the time of admission.Teachers offer academic counselling to students to enable them to perform satisfactorily at interviews and group discussions. Besides, at the time of admission teachers counsel students regarding choice of subjects.Remedial classes are held to improve academic performance of students who score low marks or become unsuccessful in the college examinations.The college is a member of the Students' Health Home, Govt. of West Bengal. The facilities available at Students' Health Home are : consultations with general physicians as well as specislists in Eye, Dentistry, ENT, Surgery, Medicine, Skin, Orthopaedics etc.The college has a grievance redress cell to look into the grievances of students and take effective steps to redress those with suggestions from gurdians, students and teachers.The college boasts of a well-maintained play-ground. Annual sports are held here.The college has a multy-gym of its own. In their leisure period or after 4 p.m., students may avail themselves of this facility under a qualified trainer.
