WB OBC Reservation Issue affects B.Tech admissions: The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2025 results have been delayed due to a legal issue surrounding the state's OBC reservation policy. Over 1 lakh students awaiting B.Tech admissions are anxious about the delay, which stems from a Calcutta High Court ruling that reduced OBC reservations from 17% to 7%. The court found that some communities were included based on religion rather than backwardness.

JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025: As per the latest updated schedule, JoSAA Round 2 seat allotment will be released on June 25, 2025, by 5 PM. Soon after the release of the seat allotments, the cutoffs will be released through the official website. JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2025 is most likely to be released between 8 to 10 PM, indicating the last ranks at which a candidate has been allotted seats for a particular college, course, and category.
