Punjab College of Education Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

The library at PCE is well equipped and constantly expanding and consists to approximately 7634 books on various subjects including reference books, educational encyclopedias, Journals, etc. The college library remains open even after college hours for interested students. Psychology Laboratory has 97 tests and 7 apparatuses along with a good number of reference books in research and educational psychology. The institute motivates its faculty, alumni and its students to undertake research. A Science Laboratory is established in the college which has all the required equipments for conducting Science experiments and projects. The equipments and materials are loaned out for the use of the student-teachers in their practice teaching. To deal with the linguistic problems of the students and to develop effective communication skills among student teachers, the college has a well equipped language laboratory with 30 student units. Student teachers of language teaching create different language games along with practicing different language skills. College has a computer laboratory with 20 computers. The laboratory  is equipped with internet connection facilities, scanning and printing facilities. The laboratory is looked after by a qualified teaching assistant who also provides technical support to students.

Separate hostel/paying guest facility arrangement are available for boys and girls. This facility is available with or without food. Each hostel has a warden to ensure smooth functioning and to implement discipline. Hostels are well guarded with proper security maintained. The management runs a fleet of modern and comfortable buses for day scholars joining from places namely Panchkula, Chandigarh, Patiala, Sirhind, Khanna, Morinda, & Kharar. All buses are new with luxury comforts. The bus service is optional and running on ‘on profit and no loss. Various pickup points are identified nearest to residences of student s in these towns, to facilitate students to commute comfortably.
