Note: Insights gathered through various sources across internet like student reviews, ratings, student testimonials etc
Overall: The college is good in terms of infrastructure and placements, but honestly, the teaching isn’t great. Most of the professors just focus on completing the syllabus quickly without properly explaining concepts. If you rely only on lectures, you’ll struggle, so you’ll have to put in extra effort on your own. On the bright side, campus life is decent, and there are enough events and activities to keep things interesting. Overall, it’s not a bad place if you’re willing to take charge of your own learning, but don’t expect much hand-holding from the faculty.
Placement: The placement opportunities are decent, but they mainly favor students from IT and Computer Science branches. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro visit regularly, but the packages are mostly average. Core branches like Mechanical and Civil don’t get as many good opportunities, and students often have to look for jobs on their own. The college provides some placement training, but it’s not very effective. If you’re in a tech-related field and have good skills, you have a decent chance of getting placed. Otherwise, you might need to explore off-campus options.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure with well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and a decent library. The campus is fairly large, and there are enough facilities for students, including a canteen, sports area, and Wi-Fi. However, maintenance is a big issue. Some classrooms have broken chairs, and the washrooms are not always clean. The Wi-Fi is slow most of the time, and some labs lack updated equipment. If the management focused more on upkeep and modernization, the overall experience would be much better.
Faculty: The faculty in the college is a mixed bag. Some professors are knowledgeable and helpful, but most just focus on completing the syllabus without ensuring that students actually understand the concepts. There’s very little focus on practical learning, and doubts are often not properly addressed. Many teachers rely too much on PowerPoint presentations instead of proper explanations. While a few faculty members genuinely try to help students, the overall teaching quality needs serious improvement. If you want to learn properly, you’ll have to rely on self-study or external resources.
Hostel: The hostel facilities are really disappointing. The rooms are small and often not well-maintained. Cleaning is hardly done properly, and the washrooms are always in a terrible state. The food quality is below average, and sometimes it’s not even hygienic. There are frequent water and electricity issues, making it difficult to stay comfortably. The hostel management is not very responsive to complaints, and students have to adjust on their own. If you have an option to stay outside, that would be a much better choice.
Overall: The campus of PVPIT bavdhan is very good.the teaching and non teaching staff of our college is too good.the principal of PVPIT College is very cooperative person and give his 100% efforts to improve collage quality in various activities.
Placement: Placements: As of now, I am a new student at this college and don’t know too much about the placement curriculum. However, according to our seniors, the placement curriculum here is very good. Companies like Infosys and Tata also come to recruit students from our college during placement drives.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very useful in terms of cracking competitive exams for higher studies as well as getting into corporate companies and industries. (106 Reviews) Teachers are well educated and are the best in their field which helps students to gain their knowledge in particular fields. (96 Reviews)
