Rama University was established in 1996 under the Rama Group founded by Dr BS Kushwah. It is situated in the city of Uttar Pradesh and is spread across a sprawling 150 acres of area in Kanpur. The university offers a private co-educational facility. Rama University is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), UGC ( University Grants Commission), and, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. The GNM course at Rama University is a 3 years regular programme which is best suited for those who desire to work in clinical nursing. Candidates who have completed their 12th standard in the science stream are eligible to pursue the GNM nursing programme. The annual Rama University GNM fee is Rs 75,000.
