About Rama University
Rama University was established in 1996 under the Rama Group founded by Dr BS Kushwah. It is situated in the city of Uttar Pradesh and is spread across a sprawling 150 acres of area in Kanpur. The university offers a private co-educational facility. Rama University is approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education), UGC ( University Grants Commission), and, the State Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is also recognised by the DCI (Dental Council of India), and MCI (Medical Council of India). Rama University is affiliated with Uttar Pradesh State Medical Faculty.

Rama University UP offers admission to certain courses like B.Tech and M.Tech through a national-level entrance exam RUET (Rama University Entrance Test). All the candidates seeking admission to these courses have to register and appear for the entrance exam. The following steps need to be followed to successfully apply for Rama University admissions.
Rama University Application Process 2024
1. The candidate must apply online or offline for the RUET entrance exam.
2. The candidate will fill in the necessary details. After registering online, the candidate will receive a login id and password, which should be saved for further access to the admission portal.
3. The candidate needs to verify their email address and start a new application.
4. The payment of the application fee may be made both online and offline. In case of offline payment, a demand draft in favour of "Rama University" for Rs 1,000 has to be enclosed with the application and sent by courier to:

There is a Government-sponsored scholarship available to meritorious students coming from low-income brackets. The basic eligibility criteria for the scholarship are:
- For General/OBC/Minority students: This scholarship offers a fee waiver for meritorious students from the general/OBC/minority category whose annual family income is less than Rs 1,00,000.
- For SC/ST students: The university offers a fee waiver for students from the SC/ST category, whose annual family income is less than Rs 2,00,000.

The GNM course at Rama University is a 3 years regular programme which is best suited for those who desire to work in clinical nursing. Candidates who have completed their 12th standard in the science stream are eligible to pursue the GNM nursing programme. The annual Rama University GNM fee is Rs 75,000. The university has not mentioned any case regarding transfer of admission from one branch to another on its official website. However, the same may be possible if you opt for lateral entry admission and meet all the basic requirements for Rama University admission. The Bachelor in Medical Lab Technology (BMLT) course at Rama University is a 3-year course with 6 months internship. The per annum tuition fee is Rs 82,000 and the annual hostel fee is Rs 75,000. You are suggested to fill out the application form at the earliest as the seat intake of the courses is limited.
