To get admission into the RAMC Bangalore BAMS course, the candidate needs to meet certain requirements. They should have completed a two-year PUC or an equivalent examination listed with RGUHS. In that exam, the candidate must have English as one of the languages, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as optional subjects. They should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of these science subjects in the second year of the PUC or equivalent exam.

If a candidate has completed the B.Sc part I degree examination from any university or an equivalent examination conducted by statutory universities or boards, they can also be eligible for admission to the first year of the BAMS course. They need to have studied science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Botany, and Zoology, and have secured at least 50% marks in the aggregate. Additionally, they should have passed the PUC examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as one of the languages.

The sanctioned seat intake is 60. It is mandatory for candidates to meet the eligibility criteria for NEET (UG) for undergraduate courses.
