The Institution is one among the top seven Engineering colleges in the state selected by Central Government for grants under World Bank funded TEQIP(First Phase) along with institutions like NIT and CET .
The college is fully equipped with all of the infrastructure facilities including computing facilities with more than 300 machines with Internet facilities and all standard software, full fledged workshops and other laboratories.
The staff includes eminent professors with more than 30 years of teaching and research experience and a team of highly motivated and dedicated teachers including senior professors deputed from other government colleges.
The college central library is equipped with all modern computing facilities and houses handpicked collection of most recent titles in engineering subjects, various national and international journals etc. Every care is taken to motivate the students in all academic and extracurricular activities.
Infrastructure: The college is small and it doesn't have a play ground , auditorium and enough outdoor space . One perk is that you got to know almost all the students of your college . Labs are quite nice but it is old and most of the equipments sometimes fail in working.
Hostel: There is no college hostel inside the campus. I guess they are trying to build one inside but due to lack of space and other issues they haven't completed the work yet. What they do is that they give contract to other outside hostles and pg and the students are directed to take the admission there.
