Sethu Institute of Technology Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

•  Backward Classes Welfare Department Scholarship :

This scholarship is granted to the students belonging to BC/ MBC/ DNC community admitted in Govt. Quota & whose parent’s income does not exceed Rs.1,00,000/- per annum.

•   First Generation Graduate Scholarship :

This Tuition Fees concession is granted to First Generation Graduate students admitted under Government Quota for Ist Year B.E./ B.Tech & Lateral Entry Direct II year B.E./ B.Tech is granted by State Government.

•  “Uzhavar Pathukappu Thittam”:

This scholarship is granted to the children of farmers.

•   Physically Handicapped Students Scholarship :

This scholarship is awarded by the Government to Physically Handicapped Students.

•   Teachers Welfare Scholarship :

This scholarship granted to the sons/ daughter of Teachers by National Foundation for Teachers Welfare, Chennai.

•   Departmental Scholarship :

This is a Departmental Scholarship provided for the higher studies of the student whose Parents working in State Govt.

•  Adi-Dravidar & Tribal Welfare Department Scholarship :

This scholarship is granted to the students belonging to SC/ ST and Converted Christian SC community admitted in both Govt. Quota & Management Quota and whose parent’s income does not exceed Rs.2,00,000/- per annum.
All the SC, ST and Converted Christian SC students are exempted from the payment of Tuition Fees.

•  Minority Welfare Department Merit Scholarship :

This scholarship is granted to the students belonging to (Christian/ Muslim) minority community and whose parent’s income does not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- per annum.
This scholarship is awarded strictly on the basis of merits.

•  UGC Scholarship :

This scholarship is granted to the PG Students belonging to SC/ST by the University Grants Commission, New Delhi.

•  Mine workers Scholarship :

This scholarship is granted to the children of Beedi Workers / Mine Workers by the Govt. of India/ Ministry of Labour and Employment, New Delhi.

•  Merit Scholarship :

This scholarship is awarded to the students based on merit by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi whose parents are working in central government/ public sector units.

•  Departmental Scholarship :

This is a Departmental Scholarship provided for the higher studies of the students whose Parents working in Central Govt./ Public Sector Units etc.,

•   Fees Concession Scholarship :

 The Management offers 100% fees concession for students with 190 cut off and above.

•      Fee Refund Award :

 The Management Refunds the entire tuition fees for first three rank holders of Anna University.

Private Scholarships are also available for the students from various trust like

• Moulana Azad Education Foundation Scholarship, New Delhi,
• Sitaram Jindal Foundation, Bangalore etc.
