The Supreme Court’s verdict on September 1, 2025, made it clear that the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) is compulsory for in-service and aspiring secondary and graduate teachers who wish to get promotion in the coming years. To remain in the service, the teachers who have more than 5 years left to retire have to pass the TET exam within 2 years. Otherwise, they can take retirement or quit with terminal benefits, according to justices Dipankar Datta and Manmohan. The SC’s judgment is said to affect 3 lakh teachers in government, aided, and private schools.
Will SSC CHSL Exam Date 2025 be Postponed? The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam dates for SSC CHSL 2025. The exam will be held from September 8 to 18, 2025, as confirmed in the official SSC recruitment calendar. That being said, speculations are being made regarding the postponement of the SSC CHSL 2025 exam date due to an overlap with the rescheduled SSC CGL exam in early September. TG EDCET 2025 Phase 2 Counselling Registration Closes Soon: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education will conclude the registration process for Phase 2 of TG EDCET 2025 counselling on September 2, 2025. Interested candidates are required to complete their registration, make online payments, and upload necessary certificates for verification before the deadline.
The Jharkhand B.Ed Entrance Exam 2025 result was released by JCECEB on August 28, 2025. The exam was conducted on May 11, 2025. The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) conducts the entrance exam, releases the result and conducts the counselling process. The students can visit the official website, jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in, to complete the counselling process which is expected to begin by the 2nd week of September. The Jharkhand B.Ed admission process 2025 is ongoing, so eligible students should participate in the counselling process on time.
The Punjab B.Ed Counselling 2025 Round 2 commenced on August 27, 2025, and will conclude on September 8, after all selected students have completed their admission process by reporting to the allocated college. Candidates who missed Round 1 or are still unallotted with a seat in Round 1 can apply with their qualifying degree scores and select colleges and subject combinations. The entire Punjab B.Ed counselling process will be conducted online and will be based on the merit of the Punjab B.Ed CET 2025 score.
