Overall: The college have been in this educational field from a very long time providing quality education to the youth shaping their future life for growth and development.
Placement: Placements depend on students grades and their academic performance throughout their course tenure, it also include the extra curricular activities done by the students.
Infrastructure: The buildings are good and have large number of classroom well maintained and extra space for canteen, library and reading rooms, computer labs and practical labs, music rooms.

Overall: Overall Shyam Lal is a good college no doubt but the locality and some of it's students defame it.Although, Shyam Lal has been renowned for various fights and bad reputation, it has developed over the years and now it's much safer for students, it provides us with anti ragging form too. The classes are well developed, the library is sub par, the sports facilities are the best from any college so far.
Placement: The placement at the college is decent not too good and not too bad it's average placements starts from 2-2.5 LPA. Various companies offer placements here, the top companies being Wipro, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice, as all of the classrooms have whiteboard and library and the reading room are installed with aur conditioning. The ground is very well maintained, the gardeners are very hardworking at Shyam Lal College.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is top notch with majority of the professors being graduated from the north campus. Various professors are migrated from north campus colleges and are very well educated and are polite and understanding.
