The SKCET campus is well planned with infrastructure like academic buildings, administration wing, central library, hostels and play grounds. Power houses are installed to meet the shortage in power supply. SKCET also provides uninterrupted power and water supply round the clock.
Separate hostel facilities are provided for girls and boys. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a holistic lifestyle with activities like yoga, sports and extra-curricular activities.All hostels are equipped with solar water heater for hot water supply.

Red Ribbon Club is a voluntary on-campus intervention programme for students in higher educational institutions in Tamilnadu. It is initiated and supported by the TamilNadu State Aids Control Society (TANSACS) and implemented through multi-sectoral collaboration, particularly, using the service of cadre officers of the State's National Service Scheme and Youth Red Cross. The programme addresses the knowledge, attitude and behavior of youth in the interrelated areas of both HIV/AIDS and sex, as demanded by their age, environment and life style. In this behavioural change process, it is expected that the students will be capacitated and promoted as peer educators within and outside the campus. This club was formed in our college in the year 2005.
The science club of the college functions with the aim of providing oppportunities to know the frontiers of science not covered in the syllabus. Under its auspices, eminent scientists share their knowledge and experience with the students and motivate them to widen the horizon of scientific knowledge, regularly.
To fulfill the cultural and emotional needs of the students various clubs are functioning in the campus.
Music club conducts periodic programmes in which students can exhibit their talents in vocal instruments and dance-light, classical and western.
Professional photographers are invited to share their expertise with the student members. Students are taken to well known studios to learn printing techniques.
Experts in the field of pencil sketching, water colouring and oil painting are invited to hone the skills of the members. It also organizes workshops for the students and exhibits the works of students regularly.
Humanity, impartiality, Neutrality, Independence, Voluntary Service, Unity and Universality are the seven Fundamental Principles of Red Cross. Youth Red Cross(YRC) headquatered at New Delhi with her Excellency the President, since 1920. Indian Red Cross Society was incorporated under parliament Act XV of 1920.
