Sri Mittapalli College of Engineering, a prestigious technical college, was founded in 2006. SMCE is affiliated with JNTU Kakinada, and SMCE courses are approved by AICTE. Admission at SMCE for the B.Tech course for the year 2022 will be done on the basis of AP EAPCET and AP ECET. AP EAPCET 2022 was conducted from July 4, 2022, to July 8, 2022. The AP EAPCET 2022 answer key was released on July 12, 2022. AP ECET 2022 for B.Tech admissions will be held on July 22, 2022. AP ICET is conducted for admission to MBA. AP ICET 2022 admit card was released on June 18, 2022, and finally, the AP ICET 2022 will be held on July 25, 2022. The AP PGECET 2022 admit card for M.Tech admissions was released on July 9, 2022, and the AP PGECET 2022 is scheduled from July 18, 2022, to July 20, 2022.

Computer Centre/Library
All of the College's academic endeavors are centered at the Library. It offers study space, materials, and services, all of which are monitored by a professional librarian with a Master's degree in Library Sciences. Now that the Library has a digital database of books, searching for and retrieving books is much easier. It is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The library is well-stocked with high-quality books on a variety of themes. In addition, the library has 4,789 reference titles, 22579 books, and NPTEL video courses. The nerve center is the DELNET online services, which comprise Infotrac Engineering, Science+Technology Collections E-Journals – 1152, Infotrac Management Collection – E-Journals, and SONET CDs and DVDs.
It provides books in a variety of genres and themes to fulfill the academic and competitive test needs of pupils. Students have access to a lending library, reference library, paperback library, non-print media library, and a vast collection of magazines, and current and back volumes. The library exudes a refined and studious aura, and it is a favorite gathering spot for free talks.
The college subscribes to leading English and Telugu journals and newspapers. These newspapers are available to students and employees at the library. Every class has a certain number of library periods per week. Classes are assigned to go to the library at specific times to read any books, magazines, or newspapers they like. To begin with, the library is an important part of the college since it helps students improve their reading skills.
Sri Mittapalli College of Engineering Eligibility Criteria for 2024
• Students need to have 50% aggregate marks in UG courses in 10 + 2 or equivalent exams. For the undergraduate courses, students will also be required to provide proof of the scores secured in the AP EAMCET examination.
• PG courses require a bachelor's degree in a relevant stream. For the MBA program, students will have to submit the marks received in the APICET exam, whereas for the M.Tech course, the scores received in examinations such as GATE or PGECET can be provided during the selection process.
